Sorry for the negative's. I am in a bad mood, because i got fired. I also have the abillity to type, and speak correctly. I am just too lazy most of the time to notice my mistakes.
No, i do not use " Ao Hell". and i am currently constructing my website using Microsoft Frontpage 05.
Anyone is able to join once it is up, and i have figured out the bugs. Also if you must know Vallian88, My first idea for a theme is going to be "The Outdoor Feeling". Give me the feeling of being free outdoor, with the sense of no limits or restrictions. For either HL2, or any existing mods.(HL2 Based).
The first prize will be small "of course, im not rich" probobly $20.00 us currency.
Nothing official yet, but will be a reality soon.

hey! id just like to say that i am going to start a hl2 + mods compo.. once i get my site constructed "probobly a month".. there will be only a few ruless. 1 for example. NO HL1!!!! what so ever! i havent figured out the prizes yet. but ill post once i get the site up and running. ;)

your compos really suck! if you ever had an hl2 compo you would see groundbeaking things and mind blowing environments! hl1 compared to hl2 is like comparing a 1920's lawnmower to a 2005 saleen. its just not the same. i guess when you guys are ready for change you will make a new compo, and come into the 21st century.

if you put a light in and mat_fullbright is still on then you have a leak and need to load youre pointfile from the map toolbar and fix it. ;)

yep its a model texture. models/props_debris/plasterwall034d.. so what can i do?? the hole in the wall is a model and i want the textures to be the same. without changing it too much. is there something i can turn off?? :

ok! i havent ever found a tutorial on this so heres mine. to have a ridiculously small amount of lagg and fps loss in your custom map, first you make your wall/floor etc.. in nodraw texture. then texture only the faces you want to bee seen. do that for all of the faces in your map and you wont drop below 50fps. " in my map i have atleast 45 models in a 25sq.ft. area and only a 5fps loss because of that, with 8 swinging lights." so there ya go. hope it helps. ;)

hey i have a problem too. when i try to make a hanging light i use prop_physics_override and it appears sometimes. but when i add a lenght constraint it turns invisible, but then when i add a rope it appears to be somewhere in the ground with the rope."always in the same place". when i copy it from a working map, the light works just fine, but the rope stands still..... and ideas why this crap happens to me???? :

im trying to make a buggy so i can drive it and i used prop_driveable_vehicle. then when it loads it says nopegraph out of date. then i try to get in it and i get stuck halfway into the buggy, then i cant get out, in, or look around. what to i need to drive the car? oh ya my test map has hills.

i have a logic_timer set to random at 7min. and 27max. - outputs=lightning1, ontimer, toggle, no delay. then- thunder2, ontimer, playsound, delay 2.00sec.

i have light=lightning1 set to, custom apearance "zaza", and initially dark. and i have ambience_generic=thunder2 set to, no loop, start silent, at 10 vol. it all works just fine but i want it timed so the lightning flashes then 2sec. after the thunder2.wav starts. but the timing is really off. how do i fix this problem? and what would you set all the settings to? thanks alot dudes!
