Looks nice, but the water itself in general is WAY to clear. It DOES need white caps, and possibly a SLIGHTLY different shade from the water.
Also, not sure how much you can change this, but the water is too calm for a wave like that, or a wave in general. Rest of the water should be affected.
Its OK, Some sites make my browser crash. EDIT: As the sequel ends in a cliffhanger, And I'm no longer working on the series, I've decided to not release said sequel.

Your right FresheD, people are fascinated with zombies. I don't get it though, I find zombies extremely boring. The Half-life/hl2 zombies are indeed a step up though.
Mod looks great, I'm pretty much certain I will be giving it a try!
Technically this article seems to be accurate, but the presentation can still use some work.
Some comments:
divide the article into various paragraphs, as currently it's a big wall of text
add a few example images to spice it up, text only is rather dry
use bold or italic when emphasizing something, all-caps is regarded as shouting and makes the article look less professional (not that we're striving for a very formal style, but hey)
I think it'd be cool if you did provide a working example map
Also, the following sentence seems self-contradicting:
The first value is the name of the map texture to apply the detail texture to, you need to rename this to the exact name of the texture you used in your map, eg, if you used the texture 'C1A0_LABW2' in your map you need to name it exactly that, it is not case sensitive and don't use the commas.
Exact same name... but not case-sensitive? I'd say it is case-sensitive. Commas? '' are single quotation marks.
You wouldn't of had that conversation if you weren't an edgy little prat. There are NICE ways to say things to people who deserve it, and JeffMOD clearly does. He wants to fix it, but you're not making it easy, start being nice.
Okay. I think I have all the bugs out, as long as you walk through doors slowly (Glitch in Platformer mode in all maps, I find) So please give me feedback, tell me what I did right, what I did wrong, and what I can improve on. thanks in advance.
I know that now, but putting the URL into my browser just wouldn't work, I needed a link for some reason. And Skals... You're on a site with gentlemen (and me) Please try to not type the attitude, you're really just getting angry at me because im an internet n00b.
2 things... You are really edgy today, and The link redirects me to http://imageshack.us/ So I can't really look at it. EDIT: I don't trust ANY website with my email, because I'm a bit paranoid.
Seeing as I don't have a login to there and it looks like it costs money... Is it a Technical problem or do you just think it's ugly? If its just ugly, all you need to do is copy and rename player.mdl to Slicksci.mdl, and if its techical, let me know whether its the model or the game crashing because of it.

Why'o'why would you call it de_splinter2 when its a complete different map then de_splinter? Doesnt nummbers act like series in this genre? Isnt "2" not a sequell on the orginial? "Angry video game nerd" would go furious on this subject ...

Aside from the tart discussion...
That looks good skals, the only thing I think could be improved is the water in the last picture. Its too bright, and differently colored, than the rest of the environment. Right now it sticks out like a sore thumb, and looks unrealistic.
And I'm pretty sure you cant trigger a change level unless the player touches the brush based trigger. I could be wrong. Let me know what happens when you test it.
Also, a textured model is not volumetric.
I have to add all the stuff, make it move, particle effects, and a collision model to surf it.
Video when i'll finish it
Also, not sure how much you can change this, but the water is too calm for a wave like that, or a wave in general. Rest of the water should be affected.
It looks a little weird though especially where the wave meets the water of the ocean, and the transparency of the wave.
Edit: Luke is right, white caps are needed
Needs white-caps.
It's a model of a wave with a especial material, well it's not veryspecial you just have to find the correct commands.
I made this, what else do you want to know cow?
It's a model.
You made this?

GTA4 ftw. =P
good to hear you're enjoying it though
I still enjoy mods with HL2 content though.
Mod looks great, I'm pretty much certain I will be giving it a try!
the little dudes are hillariously awesome
worst i've ever seen in a mod, and i've played Xen Assault
Took a decent while to finish it though. ~6hrs, I guess.

Our linking system in the comments sections are a bit dodgy at the moment, sadly.
JeffMOD, imageshack is a well-known site for uploading images to for free. I'd say links to it can be trusted.
