in Reverse Cordon: A Good Idea? Post #190306
Just look at the CSG/BSP logs for something like "cordon: 1 default 0" and slap -cordon (or whatever the variable is called) 1 in the advanced whatnot. Prob'ly work.

Hm. Try turning on Texture Lock, on the top toolbar. If that doesn't work, try turning it off and move the things around the textures are right, then put it on again.

in HL2 FPS Limit? Post #190302
Yeah, I thought it was.

Having stupidly high frame rates just gives tearing (the screen showing two different rendered stages when you turn around quickly or something), and then when the FPS drops to something still perfectly acceptable, it'll feel nasty.

They know better than you do on this one.

in Query Modem? Post #189512
It's hardly a curse for us :P
The International Telecommunication Union Standardization Sector (ITU-T) recommendation I.113 has defined broadband as a transmission capacity that is faster than primary rate ISDN, at 1.5 to 2 Mbit/s. The FCC definition of broadband is 200 kbit/s (0.2 Mbit/s) in one direction, and advanced broadband is at least 200 kbit/s in both directions. The OECD has defined broadband as 256 kbit/s in at least one direction and this bit rate is the most common baseline that is marketed as "broadband" around the world.
