this map is very nice I must say, but this looked more like an aim map than a de map, the ambience is good and the map looks great, the displacement at the bottom is maybe a bit pointy. the light rays were nice too. Over all this is good stuff! I won't rate it since it's an experiment. Try expanding this into a full map perhaps?

Nipper is a very famous mapper (but not really that good) who made plenty of fun maps, which all just had this fantastic feeling to them. Most people here would hate him.

this map is so great, it reminded me of the nipper days and made me feel sad that they are long lost.
of course there are many flaws which you can probably spot for yourself. I am rating this map 4 stars because it made a certain style in CS that I just adore and can't explain in words.

The_(c)Striker ydon't be silly, if a CS map is good, people will not criticize it negatively. Take a look at MaMuS' map, he put a lot of effort into, it has a proper lay out, it probably took many weeks to complete. Many aim maps here can be made in a matter of minutes/hours.

ok, I downloaded it on FPS banana and the map is very good, but there were some serious clipping issues, they could seriously screw up the level. You can easily exit the map by just jumping onto a path on the T side and running off the edge, and you can slide up the CT side where the waterfall is and just jump off and hide.

I am glad you chose to make a new kind of fy map, and I think this one could turn out nicely in game play. I wasn't too fond of the sprites to be honest but I thought everything else was nice. There was an odd clip though that seemed useless. 4 stars and I would say the nicest fy map I have ever seen.

your style is blocky to me, but I fucking love it. I am going to get my friend to host this map on his server, because it deserves internet multiplayer. One thing I didn't like where the way you textures underwater. But seriously this map deserves a 5 star rating since I would give it 4.7 or something. Good job.

The water looked a little square in some parts of the river, manipulate different areas to make the waters edge a little more roundish, it looks much nicer. I say try getting some custom material into your next map, models, sprites and some sound of course. Sound is EXTREMELY important in a good map. I am giving you 3.5 which just happens to have to be a 4.

Fuck up srry. This is a beginner site, so he can get feed back for his first map. Back on topic, you just have to move on from under-detailed one hour maps, people wanna see something impressive, you should line up your brush work and vary the textures, fix up that glass too. Also fix the ladders appearance. It's not a bad start, you are already learning about some useful entities. I won't give you a star because it wouldn't be justice, this being your first map and all.

May I suggest making the fence a func_illusionary and then putting a clip brush the same size over it, just so you can shoot through it. also there is an intersecting face. fix it, otherwise decent!

RESOLUTION IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE pros only use it because they got used to it due to the fact that some places may not have been able to handle constant 99fps on high res.

Hunter brother, you have to remember this site is designed for beginners. Once they squeeze out their first map, usually aim or something or other, you have to send them in the right direction instead of laughing at them. Also Shizuka, TWHL tends to like it more when people try to express their creativity. I recommend trying a CS or DE map next, shouldn't be a huge challenge since you can already handle the size of kz maps.

It's really good that you included the ambiance sound with the map. You should practice your Vertex Manipulation and make the rocks a little more interesting, they umbrellas could be models or include a few more faces, toilets should be a little smaller, and the shore should be uneven. Also, I think the map would be ruined by campers, approaching from the water isn't easy, maybe you should make an inland path.
