<snip>

At this time, I can't of any other possibilities or know of any proggies that let Windows have the multi desktop capacity that Linux has.
There are several. I used to use, what was it... nah, can't remember. Anyway, I'm using Virtual Dimension now, which is an improvement.

It usually has less nasty grainy crap around the text. Lesson, Ant: PNG exists for a reason! Use it paletted-style for stuff like that.

A better system needs to be made. If Seventh, or any other moderator can't post results in a reasonable time, no offence to Seventh, I realize you've had problems with your PC, but Ant had the results along while ago. Why can't you just say who placed so we can get the next compo running!
Dude... a week? They'll be up this evening. It normally takes much longer.
Anywhos, The gui for the compos should'nt be a problem though. Just use another compo results page as a template, and change the links, pictures and text.
Or am I missing something?
You... are. A lot. This is a dymanic site. Databases and stuff... we don't hand-code pages, basically.

in VALVe and ATi Post #194640
Please note that despite ATI claiming to beat Nvidia in Half Life 2 (or vice versa), your actual results in Half Life 2 are dependent on the age and model of your graphics card, and the speed of your CPU rather than the brand of the card. The ATI logo on the Half Life 2 Retail box means nothing at all, just like the "Nvidia the Way It's Meant To Be Played" logo at the start of games is no guarantee that an Nvidia card will perform better. Refer to the articles listed in the Graphics Card & CPU entry under the Troubleshooting section for benchmarks which show you the way specific cards perform in Half Life 2.
That's all I see ATI vs. nVidia-wise on that page.
