Better layout than most aim_ maps, and you get let off 'cos it's your first released map. Texturing's mostly good, one or two little glitches like the sides of ladders. Try not to stretch textures. The underground bit's probably a bit too dark. Keep practising and you'll get better and better.

Oh man.... I played Timefall again without cheating and just let me say this:

Wow dude, your going psycho! There IS a story. It tells you the stroy in the very begining of the game. I happen to think this mod is one of the most amazing custom mods I have ever seen. The game, although, isnt my style. I like blasting alien. Hence my mod. BUt this mod was simply breath taking. How long did it take to finish?

Well I am not going to to download this again but I still have to say from the screenie that the lighting isn't to good still, but better. The light switch didn't do anything when I tried it, but overall the map was ok. I would recomend putting an light in the medicine cabinet

Don't get me wrong, the archtitecture in some areas is really cool and egyptian, but in some areas it's just 2x walls with trims and maybe a some little boxes there and there.

I have play tested this map and 'ere are the comments:

Goodies:
-Good textures, average texturing.
-Palm trees.
-It's a real map!

Baddies:
-Too dark outside.(It's Egypt! It's mega brigth out there :D)
-Lame brushwork and architecture.
-Bad layout.
-Booriing!

Overall score: *** (Sorry, i would really liked to give this map 4 stars but it's so boring looking and stuff :/)

thanks for the feedback, im not quite sure what void you're talking about...i couldnt seem to find it. It is hard to get creative with a dormitory that has the same rooms over and over. Figured the vent system would change it up some. Thanks for giving it a shot though.

Goodies:
-Nice idea(old, though).
-Tie Fighters and the X-Wing were cool. I especially liked the see tru tex in the control pit.
-The map holograms in the rebel base.
-Teh lightsaber :D

Baddies:
-The cannons were too hard to control.
-It would have been lot cooler if the fighters wouldn't have behaved like some god damn cars. Check out air_fight2 for an example.
-Too low draw distance.
-Bad texturing in some areas.
-Ugly.
-High wpolies.

Overall score: 3

Ok dokey, i tested this map a bit with ZombieLoffe and dajuppi(bah, you don't know him). Here's a quick goodies and baddies review:
Goodies:
-Some nice ideas.
-The dark hiding(read: camping) rooms in the 2nd floor.
Baddies:
-High wpolies in the 3rd floor (Delete those rooms ffs!).
-Too simple layout.
-All kinds of bugs (eg. you can see in the void in the bathroom when you look over the left shower)
-Crappy lighting

Overall score: **

Well, I see it's inspired by Halo... It's a little the same style.

Too bad that also counts for the uniformity of the map... I could only distinguish that I had been teleported to another green portal because of the decals I had made woth some grenades...

It's a great example map. It contains a few examples for func_train, multi_managers, lights switching on and off, lasers, and controllable guns to name a few.

I recommend it to those wanting examples for things like that or for those who just want to have fun. 4/5.
