Cheer up, this will probably only be temporary. And you can use the time to work on hobbies and stuff, it's not all bad.

Seeing all the dream journals made me want to post my own from last night, but I can't remember what it was. Reading yours rings a bell though, I think it may have been about harming cats in some way. D:

And I think you'll have to put your cat under observation, without letting it realise.

I had a dream last night that I went to prison. I was in the prison van with some guy who was saying it's not true in the movies when you know what prison you're going to before you get there. As we pulled around the corner I recognised the big purple building next to the prison, and I realised I had been there before. Last time there was a group of guys that hated me, but this time I was put in a different section where there was an arcade for the prisoners, and I was tasked with operating one of the machines. I also had a cookie.

There was also something about how local thugs had started carrying cricket bats to use when they gang up on someone and beat them up. That dream ended with me being beaten up by a gang of cricket bat wielding thugs. :/

Interesting how when you hover over the speaker symbol it says 'Beatbox' rather than 'Listen', even when you modify it a bit.
Clever Google.

It seems interesting that when a lot of people tell me about their dreams, they all seem to be centered in the real world somewhat. The details tend to be somewhat surreal, but they generally have a real world setting, and feature people they know. As well as this events tend to follow each other in a relatively sensible manner. However, I notice some people, myself included, have much less realistic dreams, and these people tend to be those who have an interest in 'unrealistic' things, such as aliens or government conspiracies. In other cases they tend to have more creatively focused hobbies.

For example, I've heard a few people mention they dreamed something along the lines of 'I went to the shop to buy a loaf of bread, and on the way I met Mr Richardson who told me my mother had died', and these peoples' dreams are always along these lines.
An example of the other type would be a dream I had the other night, most of which I remember vividly. I started out on the end of an aircraft carrier. There was a hangar (of the type normally seen at airports) sitting there, facing out to sea. I opened it and inside was a jet seemingly made out of lego. I had a sense of a female presence, but there was nobody there. I had trouble getting into the jet at first, as if it were a videogame and I didn't know the controls. After I got in, I took off, and turned around to fly towards the mainland. I radioed the female, mentioning I was going to see the base and the bridge the other people had built. As I went over the coastline I pulled up to pass over a small mountain. As I went over it, I was momentarily aware of a large lake or an ocean on the other side, with a bridge leading away from the shore, before the sun blinded me, and my plane went down into the water. The next thing I knew I was back on the aircraft carrier adding covers to the plane canopy so there would only be small holes to look out of, before the dream changed, and I was crawling under a bus belonging to Simon and Lewis from the Yogscast. It had become grounded in the earth, and I was crawling under it to retrieve my shoes. As I looked up I noticed the underside of the bus was see-through, as if it were textured with null. The person inside the bus (I don't know who, but apparently a friend of mine) told me it looked normal from his side.

A bit of a lengthy description but it shows what I mean by 'not grounded in reality'

Also, that made me laugh PB.

[Edit] Seeing the actual post made me realise just how lengthy a description it was. Sorry about that.

Occasionally I sleep upwards of 18 hours a day. I think the reason is I have an addiction to dreams or something. I seem to go through a cycle of having vivid dreams, then no dreams. The times when I have no dreams I don't sleep anywhere near that long.

That reminds me of remember once when I was in the kitchen at night, and my dog Fred started barking. As I always do when this happens, I went outside with him, carrying a flashlight, as there is a local fox that has killed some of our chickens in the past. (In fact I was sitting at the kitchen table one night, and I looked up to see it peering in the window at me. It had been eating from the cats' food bowl and had just noticed me)
Anyway, as I went out with Fred I noticed that the sky was cloudless, and the moon was full and bright to the point where everything was visible for some distance, and bathed in a silvery glow. I turned off the torch and walked with Fred as we checked around the land for signs of the fox. It was quite a beautiful night.

I agree with Crollo. It's not a good thing when young children are exposed to swear words. Not because of the fact that it's rude or anything, but because they tend to then repeat those words every chance they get when not in earshot of a parent.

I've never been a fan of Chinese food, but I've always been a very picky eater. I like some kinds of Mexican food, and some types of curry.
I'm not an adventurous eater.

Luckily I took last time as an example. While I didn't have anything particularly important on the new drive, it had all been backed up, something that I now do every week.

I fucking loved Super Mario 64, but eventually I gave up in frustration with this mod, simply because of the fact that jumping puzzles are impossible with the combination of the Super Mario style of controls, and me using a keyboard. I actually got a PS2 controller for PC's for Christmas, but it only works with Windows computers.
Anyway, in the first world I got up to King Bob-omb, but he threw me off the tower into the water below. I think I tried to get back up to him about ten times before I gave up. Those platforms mang.

There have been a few times that I've been in Wales, on the motorway near Holyhead port, when some type of military fighter has flown overhead. Probably a training exercise from a nearby Air Force base or something.

Speaking of which I should clean my laptop up, and replace the thermal paste. My girlfriend asked me to clean hers up, as she was getting warnings about the system overheating. I didn't even have time to disassemble it more than halfway and I found enough cat hairs in there to construct an entirely new cat, and she's only had it a few months. Apparently she falls asleep with the laptop open next to her and her cat ends up sleeping on the keyboard every night because it is warm.

Weird. When I used it it only translated a few of the words. Enough to get the gist that they are for the lenses, but not what they were actually for.

Thanks Stu, that makes sense. I think some of the masks have a rubber gasket around the edges of the lenses, so that's probably to hold these in place.
And they're not radioactive, but they possibly contain asbestos.
I haven't even opened any of the russian filters.

My first copy of Half-Life was a copied CD given to me by a friend. I justified it to myself with the thought that if I ever saw it in a shop I would buy it, and so it wasn't piracy. Then when I heard about Steam I had no way of buying it. Then I won a Scotch and Coffee competition and I finally got a legitimate copy.

I'm like that sometimes. I bought a box of dressmaker's pins today because they were cheap and 'they might come in handy'.

I think I might make them into darts for use with an airsoft rifle, so I can use a target on a wooden board rather than just a piece of paper.

I've always wanted to do something like in Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, where they go into that tiny room and when they leave they're somewhere else. It would have to be seamless though, so no levelchanges or teleports.
