@Pb: Thanks, I can totally see where you're coming from. Another thing I hear people say is "Make something you would watch yourself." Of course, that's where I fall into that pit you mentioned regarding goofing around in games. I will keep doing those because even if other people don't always enjoy them, I still get some amusement when I look back through them.

They really are though. I love my wife, I doubt I will ever be this close to another person except my children (whenever they come along), but I cannot even begin to understand the way her mind works.
Our interests are so very different too. Trying to get her interested in science or videogames is about as easy as teaching a brick to appreciate modern art.

Cats are wonderful to have around when you're ill. Whenever I stay home I spend the day on the sofa, watching crap TV. Archie is always lying on or around me and he's lovely and fuzzy and warm.

That said, I completely agree. Women are fascinating creatures who can be emotionally unstable at the best of times, being tipped by the slightest thing.
I have learned after almost one year, married life is all about finding out what get's on a woman's nerves and then using it whenever you get bored.

I was playing Duke Nukem 3D and Doom by the age of 7. Admittedly, they focus on killing aliens and demons. Still, I don't see any problem with letting a child play FPS or other action intense games at a young age, so long as you teach them that such behavior in the real world is unforgivable.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Well, I'm not saying I'm perfect or that this is a good solution but I used to be bullied constantly too. I was at secondary school for 3 years just putting up with it until I finally started reacting. Not in a good way either. Put a hole in a wall, punched a guy in the face, grabbed a couple others by the throat.
Certainly regained my confidence though. Started asking girls out. Started getting "Yes" as the answer.
Also, never pay attention to internet bullying. It's pathetic on their part. They torment people, hiding behind they anonymity.

Sorry. I know how excited you all were about it.
I got a load of D's so got bumped down to Foundation level papers for maths, science and english, the max grade for which is a C.
I got C's in all those subjects because the actual exams were a breeze. I could have probably walked away from the Higher papers with A / B grades.
Grrr.
(Note: Not that it mattered, I got into college and then bollocksed everything up there anyway)
