That secret does do something, you just need all 3 HL logos to unlock the RPG. You can also open the big door if you can figure that one out. Look around it for anything that sticks out. What may look like mistakes may be clues.

Just updated the collection with .rmf and .map formats for you and others, just redownload. Happy to help.

That’s by design kinda. Using additive made it way too bright. Unless there is a major issue, it’s not going to be updated.

Also, has anyone found any secrets yet?

Yes, the trees and everything is all for goldsource. I tried to keep the trees at a polycount that isn't terribly high so you can use a lot of them in a map or scene. They were all built with optimization in mind and the philosophy of "what if these were made in 1998." I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for the feedback. Missing textures are likely from turning all my dev textures into null once I think I got everything. I simply didn't notice them. The pause zoom is a biproduct of binding an animated cvar to a -command like +mouse2 -mouse2. It can be fixed by not animating it, but it's not as fancy looking. I'm happy to hear that you found the tripmine platforms enjoyable. I hope to continue to develop them. I'm surprise you didn't mention the weird lights in the little food section. turns out you can't flip lights or toggle them either on or off independently. All the targeted light have to be either on or off, not some on or some off. If there's a way to do it, I don't know it. :<

As long as all the crabs were fun to look for, cosmetics aside, I see this as a success. If you looked for them for 1.5 hours, I'm surprised someone played the mod for that long at all.

I updated weed fort to include the one I used. For file size sakes, I’ll use the smaller one.

Welcome back 38_98!
There's new things, new people, but the core of us and the general vibe of things haven't changed.

Also, *Hope you're all keeping well.*

Yep, not much has changed. 😉
Though we have a Discord now. Many of us hang/lurk on there.

Yes they are, though most of them are func_detail when they should be func_wall or otherwise. For the most part, the unseen or backsides are nulled.

GAAAAWWWD DAMMMIIIIIIT!

In my defense, I made that map while on Prozac.
Also I don’t even have the map anymore, it was on an old computer. ;( feel kinda bad about all this.

Still, I’m rather impressed you found them all. It wasn’t my intention to tease. Congrats!

Gorgeous map but not the most optimized it could be. With something like this, your VIS settings matter a lot and there are things that can be done to lower the r_speeds and increase frame rates. But overall it is a masterfully constructed map. Bravo.

It went well. We’re home now and the doctor said it all went according to plan. She’s not in any extra pain which is good. They used acupuncture to make sure her nerves were ok during the procedure which is an interesting thing. Overall recovery is going very well.

Made that promised update. Windawz suggested making the buttons shootable and I agree. None of the locations changed. Totally forgot the +USE function ignores walls. This is likely a final but who knows.

Not that I would, but Mushrooms actually repair the constricted neurons in the frontal lobe that attribute to anxiety and depression as well as other things. I’d do well with just Medical Cannabis though.

Stojke that might be my long term treatment. I may get a medical cannabis card since it would actually treat three things in one.

It seems that way these days, doesn’t it? But abnormal traits were observed by a peer and a neuropsychologist in the room with me. It was an up-to-date test and it turned out I was on the spectrum. There are simple things I can’t do that I need help with. The depression is so bad it’s chemical. This all happened in October, and I wouldn’t put it on the internet if I wasn’t sure.

A miracle happened and my hospital visit was waived. I qualified for something and that service took care of the costs. I got a very happy letter that said my account had been adjusted to zero. All I have to do is pay the radiology department which is kinda not a big deal. I'm very grateful, though I don't know what I did to deserve it, but it encourages me to want to release and close projects.

If I’m going to get funding for anything, it’d be for my projects. Though, it really does feel like a fine for a stupid genetic condition. I could choose a fun number of petty crimes that would incur less in fees and fines, and that would be my choice, but I didn’t choose any of this. I have a healthy lifestyle, and it’s sick that that was never an issue. What gets me is simply seeing how decrepit the system is and how it’s messed up everything. A colleague and phenomenal artist had passed from a medical complication before she could get her degree. She couldn’t afford what she needed, and that shit stole her from making the world a brighter place, and that shit scares me. The system failed her, and the world lost a promising artist. I can’t fail nor be failed upon either, I’ve got shit to get done.

Ugh. Steroids rant.

And yes I did do work on my phone for things. I never stop.
