That's lucky of you. I get outages somewhat frequently, I had to get an UPS. Unfortunately the UPS only has C13 outlets and the modem and router don't have these plugs, hence this mishap. I hear that the power company is expected to pay users for such damages but I haven't looked into this yet.

@Striker: I have no idea, how do I find out the temperatures? And yes I did say 8 years, but come to think of it, this year it's only 7 since I bought it. My bad.

But you got most of them right on the image above. Only รต should be something else (looks more like a 6 but it doesn't display on TWHL when pasted) but it's nowhere near indistinguishable.

Maybe you typed in some wrong letters. "P" and "L" look a lot alike (sort of like pi), and so do "Sh" and "Tsh" (sort of like a W), and also "Y" (looks like "bi") and the untranslatable symbol that looks like a "b".

Otherwise, I don't know. Google learns fast :P

Google Translate is pretty close to this. It also chokes on the (?) part so I can't confirm its accuracy :P

Yeah I'm not sure I'd trust those filters, you may be better off using modern filters. If only just in case.

From what I can tell (accuracy not guaranteed):

"NP"
Kuioysheva Chemical Works V.V.

Triacetate
Batch 236
6pc. set D-59
Mfg. April 1972

Tightly protects from moisture.
Grab only by the edges.
Apply antifog film on the glass (?)
Used film must be replaced with a new one.
Do not rub when cleaning the "NP" mask.

NP

44 must be the size.

So a bunch of func_illusionaries/func_wall_toggles. I always wanted to do something like that even before I knew what entities were. But never came up with a practical use for it.

I can't help but wonder why do you need so many gas masks. :P

I remember reading something about Ubuntu not too long ago, but I can't for the life of me remember what was the name of it or where I read it. It was something like this:

"I got Ubuntu and bla bla bla"
"Don't bother with it - use X, it's like Ubuntu minus the bugs"

I still can't remember what "X" was.

This isn't good.

Urby's: 50%

Archie's: 20%

I did get thrown off by some answers I actually thought were too obvious to be correct.

Don't say pirated films and games. --Brain

Pirated films and games.
No! Quick, say something else!

I mean--- some people have a lot of games on Steam.
Phew! That was close.

Wait, I mean-- lots of RAW photos take up a lot of space. Yeah, that.
You're a genius. Let's go watch Tron.

^The above comment only applies to Steam HL. WON HL does not support mp3 files, only audio CDs.

I suppose you could place your own audio CD and it would still play. starts playing HL with Barry White soundtrack

All the better. No jump-at-you scares, on the contrary. You are made afraid of what you can't see.

From the screenshots: Very plain architecture and lighting, and too much blood splatter. func_darkness is bollocks. I hate that shit, it's very unrealistic.

@potatis: At my last job I had to maintain a set of legacy VB6 apps that were lager than most. Sometimes they said we had to port them to .net, but that never really got approved. Had we ever done it, would that have made them beer?

Love the street shots, absolutely convincing. Do those buildings really have brick/stone siding or just more really convicingly painted wood? The cobble road looks great and old.

Just nitpicking, but a few windows should be lit inside! If only one or two, for added realism. There's always someone that leaves a light on at night.

I'd love to visit such installation, it's a shame I'm probably not allowed in :P

Just wondering, will you be sleeping in indoor bedroom sets? heh heh.

What I'd like to see:
  • More shots of the facility and its extents.
  • Inside views of indoor sets.
  • Are the electrical installations carefully planned and installed or as ad-hoc as can be?
  • Some minute detail that caught your eye. Could be anything - an old phone, half washed dishes, an old sock under a bed in a bedroom set, a lovely set grandma-like dining room... anything really.
  • The inner workings or behind-the-scenes of something mechanical/electrical that looks like the real deal but is only carefully designed to LOOK like it without actually being it.
  • More shots of that good looking blonde. :P

Last exam I studied for, just took me 2 days. And then there also was Physics that took me about a week, but about 1 hour every day. So 7 hours. And I got 10/10.

Don't panic Mix. You'll be fine.
