I've actually seen one room of it....hmmm. It's OK, but needs better texturing, you need to look at the side of the computer, the textures look odd like that, but the brushwork's quite good.

It?s true Seventh!!!. Imagine a GREAT BLOCK that you carve in... And... That?s Unreal. I did some little editing for Unreal Tournament till I got bored of killing bots.
And to decompile Bsp maps, Zombie Loffe, you must use a program like winbspc.

That?s nothing at all. Always a pleasure to help so I hope to see your maps soon!!!!.
And now a HINT!!!. Whenever you make a new texture and you want to make it emit light JUST add it to your lights.rad file and set its values as the textures seen in the file. You can also CHANGE the original textures values to make them emit the light that you want.
Experiment a bit with these values and ask any questions you?ve got.

umm i've made a map of my school, im actually kinda proud of it only it got small as like a shoe.
And its not even a regular school its a small "special" school that has lot's of shit in it , it got kinda good.

ok copied all the lights from valve.rad and some from some other file i found on the net to the lights.rad file and it worked well with the textures i tried with :D :D .

lol made a search on the drive and it found 1 lights.rad which contained the line +0~WHITE 255 255 255 100 which i guess is the white textures little lighting properties. Where teh fedit is hl's lights file?

Hehe... Look for the Lights.rad file and put them in your Hammer/tools folder... Inside this file you will find a list of textures that emit light and their values. Ask ASlayer for more info, he told me about those lights.

I know there's like textures that emit light and i know entity-based lights. but texturebased wont show up in my map, they're just big dumb textures showing a pic of a light...

Well, I'm at a loss, then. I simply can't find anything wrong with it, besides the detail being a bit high for software players (although you don't notice, vassy, until you reach the second platform and look around as JesteR suggested). Since I cant find any problems, I would still say Its not the map at fault, but ?Something? about your video? try lowering your video mode to something modest. Perhaps your CPU or Graphics card is being overworked. If that does nothing, try swapping PCs... HEY! I just absent mindedly alt-tabbed back in your map and... YUCK! there's some crazy stuff happening! I've never seen that happen before. In the left corner, there's a continuous grey shadow... and occasionally bits of the railing on the second show right through the walls infront of them. If this is your problem, I fixed it by closing a few other programs I had running and re-loading the map.
