It's great that you're taking it as a reason for self improvement rather than being bitter about it. Although while I understand Urby's displeasure at it's winning MOTM, his tirade about the logical inconsistencies in what was essentially a common first map type of map was unneeded. Although it did make the review worth watching.

After messing about with it I managed to put it on. Very tight, which was expected, but very tight in the chin as well. I can only assume that was also due to it being two sizes to small.

I just like to collect trinkets, and I'm interested in military history and technology, so it's a nice combination. Although my aunt's first guess was something sexual.
I suppose it's a relatively widespread fetish though. If you just type 'gasmask' into eBay rather than a specific model, you have to wade through a sea of fetish videos and real ones that seem to be modified with latex to cover more than just the face. Some of them are hard enough to get on already, I couldn't imagine what those must be like.
[Edit] Searching for it now on this computer, there's almost no results like that. Assuming eBay remembers searches like Google does I would hate to think what somebody has been using those library computers for. D:

I remember I once designed some steampunk goggles in SolidWorks. They even had mechanical irises. The problem was that getting parts machined is expensive, and so is brass. Not to mention they'd weigh too much to wear on your face.
And there's a military surplus store in the next city over here, they have a few sets of aviator's goggles. Probably chinese military or eastern bloc, they're the same design anyway. The one here has a lot more military clothing, but a lot less interesting bits and bobs. They've got a load of ammo cans though.

I now realise why before every exam my father's advice is = to slow down and read the question properly.

Literally about half of my games have no hours on record. Admittedly some of those came with other games, or I had bought recently and so I haven't been able to play them, but still, there are some I got like a year ago that I've never played. Anyway, the game I've playe most is Half Life, with 74.9 hours on record, followed by Team Fortress 2 with 44, and then Opposing Force with 40.1 I have Fallout 3 on console, and I had about 140 hours on that. I also got Borderlands on XBox 360 when it came out, and played that with a friend for about 30-40 hours straight.

It is a 2.5" drive Mr Terror, which is why I was limited to about 1TB, what with my price range and the fact that I honestly didn't see any drives past a terabyte. And I do have a 2TB external drive, so I don't have to worry about using up all that space with my massive collection of pornography games.
Actually, come to think of it neither of those collections are particularly big. I suppose I did have a few pirated films and games RAW images though. And even a few non pirated, non Steam games.

Unfortunately I couldn't play this map. Model fern3b.mdl was missing, and if I renamed another model then the game would just freeze halfway through loading the map. Is it a custom model, or is it a default model that I for some reason don't have?

I kind of see what Bruce means. Although I don't know much about Glasgow, while I've been there once I'm mostly basing that off the buildings around here, which are of the same style. The corners of the buildings are too squared, the ones here tend to be somewhat chipped. Maybe they're just older or something.

Pretty much the same as CT here, except that while I didn't get stuck in the vents, I got stuck in the teleportation puzzle and spent a good few minutes running into random ones until I got through.
I didn't really know what to expect when starting up the map, but I was impressed. I really liked the way you did the city in the first map, I liked the view as I went out on to the balcony at the very start of the map. I was also quite impressed with the way you did the moving train. I will have to resist the urge to steal your method in the future. And that's all I can really say that hasn't already been said by CT in his mini review. I only managed to get one question right, excluding guesses, but I still very much enjoyed this map.

I've been here 1774 days (4.86 years). I've known most of you guys for longer than I've known most of my IRL friends. There have been a few times when I've been completely inactive for a moth or so, but most of the time I would log I would log in every day. I think I would have been about 14 when I joined, and while I can't remember most of my posts from back then the ones I can I find embarrassing.

I will stop luring small children into the back of my van with candy and then lecturing them on the importance of being careful not to create concave brushes in vertex manipulation, and not to create brushes with coplanar faces. That will be an easy one to keep. I never do that.

And what I need is a pair of wireless headphones. I'd be willing to sacrifice sound quality for not accidentally ripping the cables out of the headphones when I stand up like I've done with every pair I've ever owned.

It came with Windows. About a year or so ago each time I would start up my laptop, before loading Windows it would tell me one of my disks has an error and needs to be checked for consistency. Allowing it to do so would start a process that took several hours and appeared to have no effects. It gave me no options or information at the end of the process and it would ask to start the process next time I would start it up. I never got round to looking it up, although I was already intending to backup everything when I could and reformat, reinstall Windows, hoping it possibly have been a software related error. (not to mention I had a load of crap I didn't need and couldn't be bothered to hunt down and get rid of)
My laptop crashed yesterday, and when it booted up again (I selected start Windows normally), it was loading for about 20 minutes before it stopped and told me it couldn't complete the startup operation, and to do a diagnostic. I accepted, and 8 hours later (these disk checks take bloody ages) it told me the problem was that there is a critical disk error and to back up everything that I can. About an hour or two after starting Windows a popup appeared, telling me I need to back everything up and then shut down my computer until it could be fixed. It gave an option to access a text file that helps with backing up.
It's about two years old, and I believe it to be a Samsung HM250HI. Although looking at the Samsung product page it comes with (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology, which is supposed to inform of disk errors, so it might not be a Windows function to inform the user of disk errors.
Depends on how you would define stress. I have had it filled to near capacity for a while, and on a few occasions I have had as few as 100MB space left. However each time I became aware of this, I would do my best to get rid of anything unnecessary as soon as I could. Also, the errors began appearing at least 6 months before any of this happened.
I would start up the Windows defragmenter about once a month, maybe every two weeks, but each time it would tell me there was less than 2% fragmentation, so I never manually used it. It may be set to automatically run on a schedule.
I don't really know anything else than that unfortunately.

Poor kitty. Although I have to agree with Skals, I've seen videos of people feeding live mice to pythons, and while there were people saying that it's horrible, the majority were defending it. Although unlike this they weren't deliberately doing it to inflame.
