in vault item: [BMHL entry] You failed.Comment #14104
At last...I wanted to rate this 3 from the beginning but though it would be wrong or something I was missing? First of all, creativity could have been better. I mean... whats so special about this door? Lasers? How creative is that.. The ending wasnt logical at all. I fail? failed doing what? walking through the corridor? There was a wall anyway..how far could I just go. However, I liked the outside look of the door and also the medium architecture at the outside. It looks like you finished in a hurry so.. could have been a hell lot better.

Wow, this is actually my favourite Star Wars: Battlefront map
Its amazing that how you managed to build the AT-AT and the figthers with just hl1 textures, good job. It would be cool if one of the fighters was trying to take down an AT-AT with it's ropes. (like in the battlefield) It could easily be done with an env_beam and func_rotating (you have the fighter anyway)
And I agree with Captain P about the sound, if you want a good battle music get the main menu music in Jedi:Power Battles. (bam bam bara bam, bam bam bara bam, bam bam bara bam uhm...yea )
Decent entity work with the turrets. Turrets ftw!
Snow effect with the sand texture (funny but satisfying )
In conclusion, it seems that you made a hell of a effort to build the Star Wars props. but forgot to detail the corridors, lighting and inside the ships.(light-blue lighting looks cool though, lol)

I actually made a better version of this but didnt upload it (used rowleybob's "molten cut metal" idea.)And also made burned decals show up on the door.
I played this like 2 year ago but didnt comment ..:P Everything is nicely done. +Entity work was great +Nice Puzzles not too hard or too easy +Satisfying combat

Yea, I remember having the samething when I played it in Muzz's server. There was an invisible wall some sort of.But as Muzz said there is a bugglitch near the gauss gun.

Destructification was very well done in this map.Actually, I wouldnt even feel the destructification right if there werent those war ambiences.Good job!

Is Operation Overlord playable in any server?
I like the realistic stuff in the game. And also the first soda machine as well
